The Independent Software Developers Forum (ISDEF) has begun registration for its next annual conference, ISDEF 2006. This year the conference will take place October 5-8. The forthcoming ISDEF 2006 is an anniversary conference, being the fifth of its kind. ISDEF conferences have become one of the high-profile international events. The previous ISDEF 2005 conference attracted over 500 independent software developers as well as such international giants of the software industry as Digital River (Symantec), Google and Microsoft.

Since 2002, the ISDEF has been dedicated to represent and protect the interests of software developers and service providers from all around the world. Today the ISDEF is an organization with hundreds of members around the world working together to improve their businesses and making it easier for computer users to find quality software.

ISDEF organization hosts annual ISDEF international conference. The ISDEF international conference is a significant event for the international IT market. Every year the ISDEF conference is attracting more and more visitors from around the globe (USA, Europe, Russian Federation, and more), including software developers, journalists, major software distributors and publishers (Digital River, Microsoft, Intel, Symantec, Sybase, CNet), representatives of investment and legal firms, and government organizations to discuss corporate development, investments in software companies, intellectual property protection and anti-piracy laws.
