10 years in the life. A continuity is to be found in the dimension of time. Anniversaries are of course shot through with retrospection and nostalgia, and grand anniversaries of the kind we are marking in 2005 seem at first sight to give particular priority to the past over the present and the future. Yet the creative thinking that Argentum exists to encourage is a future-driven business: from its vantage point in the present, such thinking, irrespective of the business, looks forward into a world of possibility. We hope that Argentum is able to congratulate itself on its future as well as its past. Now is the moment for us to project ourselves into the next ten years.

Argentum Backup 2.50 review has
been published in the September issue of PC Magazine (USA).

We are pleased to announce a new section at our web-site, which consolidates all of the available backup resources on our web-site. This section serves as a common index (repository) for all backup articles available on our web-site. The information is primarily intended for home and small office business users running any Microsoft® Windows® operating system, including Windows® 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP, and 2003.
Currently this section includes links to all of the pages from both Windows Backup Guide and Backup Software Reviews, and it also features the following all new articles: "Backup basics", "Getting started with Windows Backup", "Microsoft Backup basics", "Backing up to DVD drives", and more. This selection is expected to grow over time, so check back often. It is important that you get into the habit of backing up your files on a regular basis. Backing up is easy when you know the subject.

for strong 128-bit and 256-bit AES symmetric encryption modes to

is the Advanced Encryption Standard, which is the result of a
three-year competition sponsored by the U.S. Government's National
Institute of Standards (NIST). AES has been approved by NIST as a
Federal Information Processing Standard for use by the U.S.
government, businesses, and individuals. More:
- Mozilla, Thunderbird, Netscape Communicator, and IncrediMail e-mail clients are now supported in built-in e-mail template.
