We are pleased to announce a new section at our web-site, which contains comprehensive information about software and hardware solutions currently available on the market to protect your data, useful backup tips, tricks, and explanation of common backup terms. The information is primarily targeted at home and small office business user running any Windows computer, including 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP, and 2003.

This guide explains the differences between the traditional file backup programs and disk imaging software. It includes information on the following popular file backup programs: Backup MyPC, Handy Backup, WinBackup, Second Copy, Backup Now!, and Windows built-in backup utility (Windows Backup). Additionally, it covers Norton Ghost, True Image, and Windows' native system recovery feature, known as System Restore. You can get the full version of any of our products for free, in exchange for a permanent link to the product page from your web-site, which must first be approved. It also includes a special section devoted to modern trance music, featuring the brightest trance and house DJ talents from all over the world. A special article covering the technologies we have used to create and publish this music catalog online, is also available. It is intended to unveil the power of MP3 digital audio cataloging with Argentum MyFiles, as well as, to give people basic information on XML, XSLT and XHTML, and how they can get benefit of these standards with MyFiles.

Argentum Backup 2.10 has been released. Thanks to the new and completely rewritten backup engine, this newest release features many internal improvements. Perhaps the most significant improvement is full support for Zip64 format, the 64-bit extensions to the Zip file format, which lets you back up your data in huge, multi-gigabyte Zip files of virtually unlimited size. In fact, Argentum Backup is the first backup software program of its class to support the newest Zip64 extensions!
