15 years in the life. A continuity is to be found in the dimension of time. Anniversaries are of course shot through with retrospection and nostalgia, and grand anniversaries of the kind we are marking in 2010 seem at first sight to give particular priority to the past over the present and the future. Yet the creative thinking that Argentum exists to encourage is a future-driven business: from its vantage point in the present, such thinking, irrespective of the business, looks forward into a world of possibility. We hope that Argentum is able to congratulate itself on its future as well as its past. Now is the moment for us to project ourselves into the next five years.

This year, in October, 2010, we're celebrating:

  • 15 years of Argentum Corporation.
  • 15 years of MyFiles™ and Coolbase™ (Infophilia™).
  • 10 years of Argentum™ Backup.

We are pleased to announce a major update to Windows Backup Guide, which consolidates all of the available backup resources on our web-site. This section serves as a common index (repository) for all backup articles available on our web-site. The information is primarily intended for home and small office business users running any Microsoft® Windows® operating system, including Windows® 7, XP, Vista, 2000, and Server.

The updates primarily concern new releases from Microsoft: Windows® 7, Vista and all latest releases of Windows® Server®, as well as Windows Live Mail and Windows Mail. These backup guides focus on backing up in general, assist you in finding important data on your computer, explain how to locate the proper paths, files and folders that may be recommended for regular backup. It is important that you get into the habit of backing up your files on a regular basis. Backing up is easy when you know the subject.
